Silently and swiftly, it has stalked for long now, and seeks only to invite limitless pain and suffering to thy heart. It has come...and gone. The Last Day (of school).

Perhaps, a premature end. Perhaps, a new beginning. There are always two sides to a coin, just as how the brightest light would cast the darkest shadow, and we all have different perceptions of what this last day signifies.

Yet, despite its significance, it has simply vanished in an instant, like the timid flame of a candle, too easily extinguished. There is a solemn sadness about how this day has been. For better or worse, also consider a certain person's departure. If you grieve, it is, perhaps, a selfish thing, yet another trait of the human heart.

The human heart is a feeble thing, too easily swayed, too easily shattered. It hopes and desires...

But we should all have only one wish.

Naught.

Nothing.

There is not an end without a beginning. There would have been nothing to weep about, nothing to cling onto too tightly, refusing to let go.

Happiness is the beginning of sadness.

Pardon my excessive use of strong language, but I feel that this is the best way to express the truth in my heart. Even though I claimed that we cannot be happy if we don't want to be sad, this is an impossible feat.

Humans, unlike other creatures of Nature, have emotions and intelligent thoughts. We do not live for the sole purpose of mating and finding food. We are capable of much more.

We interact with others, for the sake of relations and association. We have memories.

Memories...that will eventually fade, for it is fallible, a human thing.

I type too much. No one's going to see this.

Just hope for the best. Pray hard and well.
